Dialogue

This approach is described as "Dialogical" because it is based on the achievements of the philosophical dialogue introduced to European thought by Socrates, for example:

  • Jointly developed questions instead of discussing pre-existing theses
  • Agreement of the interlocutor instead of majority or power decisions
  • Joint pursuit of knowledge instead of competition to see who knows better
  • Consistency of thought, speech, and action
  • Open-ended thought processes without predetermined goals; creative thinking
